AdviceOne LLC 2005 Client Appreciation Event Photos Holiday Breakfast Party for the Families of Deployed Soldiers Lady Katharine Riverboat Cruise with Michael Grossman Lady Katharine Riverboat Cruise with Ron Williams Golf at Gillette Ridge Rock Cats Baseball Northeast Utilities Reunion Party Holiday Breakfast Party for the Families of Deployed Soldiers For the second year, the advisors, staff and clients of AdviceOne decided to do something special for the families of deployed Connecticut soldiers. They teamed up with Maneeley’s Banquets and Catering to host a Holiday Breakfast Party on December 18 for the spouses and children of Connecticut military personnel who are separated during the holiday season due to deployment. The event was held in conjunction with the Connecticut National Guard, whose volunteers distributed donated toys to the children of service men and women. Governor Jodi Rell attended, as did Santa, who read stories to the children and listend to their Christmas wishes. "The response of AdviceOne clients was even more overwhelming this year," said AdviceOne President Michael Grossman. "They gave checks, gift certificates, and mountains of toys. They donated their time as well, helping to set up the party, bus tables, wash dishes and clean up after the event. We knew we could count on them to make the holidays a bit brighter for these families." Lady Katharine Riverboat Cruise with Michael Grossman 100 AdviceOne Ambassadors and their guests enjoyed a beautiful fall evening on a Lady Katharine Cruise down the Connecticut River. Michael Grossman, who sponsored the event, announced that over $900 was raised for the American Red Cross Hurrican Katrina Relief Fund. Guests enjoyed delicious food and beverages, and danced the night away to the sounds of the Fast Lane Band!
Lady Katharine Riverboat Cruise with Ron Williams Senior Vice President Ron Williams hosted his first Client Appreciation Event for his AdviceOne "Ambassadors." Clients and their guests enjoyed smooth sailing down the Connecticut River on a ’Lady Katharine Cruises’ yacht. Delicious hors d’ouevres were enjoyed as our guests sipped fine wine and tropical drinks. We were entertained by an amazing magician and danced to the live sounds of "Fast Lane".
AdviceOne clients and their guests joined their advisors for a day of golf at New England’s newest champion golf course, Gillette Ridge in Bloomfield, CT. The day began with our guests enjoying lunch before playing the beautiful course designed by legendary golfer Arnold Palmer. This perfect summer day was followed with a lovely dinner served on the patio of the Grill Room. In addition to the fun had by all, many wonderful raffle prizes were distributed and our golfers generously donated to the Southeastern Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependency.
Over 300 AdviceOne clients and their families attended the Rock Cats baseball game. The evening began with an all-you-can-eat picnic exclusively for AdviceOne guests, followed by the start of the game with an AdviceOne client throwing the first pitch! We’d like to thank our clients for donating so generously to our fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The evening ended with an exciting win by the New Britain Rock Cats over the Norwich Navigators.
Northeast Utilities Reunion Party Some AdviceOne clients and their guests joined their advisors in June, 2005 for a delicious "Chinese Fire Drill" dinner at Wang Palace in Glastonbury. Current and past employees of Northeast Utilities had a chance to relax and catch up on all the latest news.
